Serving as the Events and Networking Chair for YALI RLC Alumni Nigeria in the past 1 year has been a leadership role I am always thankful for as it’s a honour to serve.

Working with the team and brainstorming on ideas, events and programs that would be of benefit to our members, helping them to be better citizens and great personalities in their fields is what I always look forward to, and despite the covid-19 strike, we were still able to do our best.

During my tenure, I made it a responsibility for us to always celebrate specific international days such as World Cancer Day, International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, International day of Women & Girls in Science, International Women’s Day, World Humanitarian Day, Nelson Mandela Day, International Day against Drug Abuse, World Sickle Cell day etc. This is to show our solidarity with the global community and lend our voice as a whole to support these causes.

In June, we began a 30-day campaign against rape, where we shared our members thought on the subject matter daily, the entire month.

To ensure our members continual learning, we organized webinars on Grant Writing, Branding for Fundraising and Marketing Business Strategy, & Relationship Management for Social Entreprenuersof which I functioned as moderator respectively.

No doubt, I have learnt alot this one year and improved in my people management skills, criticism management and interpersonal relationship engagements.

Thanks to the entire YALI RLC Nigeria members who made this one year of service worth it, the support and believe in me, as an individual and for us as a team cannot be taken for granted. I love you all

Long live YALI RLC ALUMNI Nig
